Design

Got a design? Great! Send it over, and we'll get to work. First, we tidy up your design file, smoothing out any tricky parts. Then, we're all about the details – stenciling where needed to ensure those little island pieces in your design don't fall out during the cut. It's all about keeping your design looking sharp and staying together, just the way you imagined it.

Cut

Once your design is ready, it hits our CNC plasma table. Here, we take 14 gauge metal and get to work. The plasma table cuts through the metal with precision, turning your design into a reality. It's a straightforward but skilled process, ensuring each piece has clean, sharp lines. The end result? A neatly cut, durable piece of metal art that's exactly what you envisioned.

Prep

After the cutting stage, we move on to prepping your piece to perfection. First up, we tackle any slag – those little remnants from the plasma cutting – with a wire wheel. This step is all about making sure your metal art is smooth and clean, with no rough edges. Then, if your design includes any hooks or accessories, we carefully weld these on. This part of the process is crucial for ensuring that your piece isn't just beautiful, but also functional and ready for display.

Paint

Once prepped, your metal art is ready for its final transformation. We start by prepping the surface for painting, ensuring it's perfectly ready to take on color. Then, using a high-quality HVLP gun, we apply Rustoleum exterior-grade oil-based paint. This type of paint is chosen for its durability and excellent finish, ensuring your piece withstands the test of time and elements. Each sign then hangs in our paint room, given ample time to cure properly. This step is crucial for achieving that lasting, vibrant finish.

Ship

When it comes to getting your metal art to you, we take every precaution to ensure it arrives safely. For our smaller signs, we use sturdy, off-the-shelf boxes that are just the right fit. But for anything larger than about 24 inches, we go the extra mile. We custom-build a box for each large piece, using heavy corrugated cardboard that's securely stapled to a wooden crate. This method provides extra protection and stability, ensuring your art withstands the journey and arrives in perfect condition, ready to be displayed and admired.
